I can think of a few things.

A) Who is going to take care of the baby after he/she is born?
B) Are we emotionally ready to take on a child? They are wonderful but they are also time-consuming and take a lot of dedication.
C) Can we afford to have a child? We will definitely need gear, diapers, wipes, clothes. We'll also possibly need formula if breastfeeding doesn't go well. All of these things can be very expensive!
D) Can we afford to have a child as far as the medical costs go? Even with insurance there is a cost to having a child. What if the child is sick and needs extra medical attention?

Have you ever thought that many people just don't know the answers to the health questions? My mom is an NP so I try to help people when I know the answer, but if someone asks a question about the health of their child that I'm not 100% sure I know a decent answer to, I for one am not going to stear them the wrong way. I think that is where a lot of people are coming from. Try being a little less sensitive.

Thats my theory no sex till at least you have a drivers license! GOOD LORD! Its still bad but at least they will have a way to get a job and go to a hospital if need be! Its sickening isn't it?

I had a lump on the outer part of mine after my first pregnancy (the size of a malteser) as I had difficulty washing after my c-section my doctor told me it was a type of boil which can form when your immune system has suffered and sometimes appear anywhere warm and moist including your inner thighs, between your bum cheeks or even your armpits (lovely I know!). Basically it became like a spot which could later be lanced and eventually dried out & went away. What you have could be the same but obviously you should still get it checked. I hope it's nothing serious. Good luck.

It does sound like hand-foot-and-mouth, which can cause mouth ulcers. However, if your daughter is in "quite a bit of pain" I would definitely recommend a trip to the ER for this. They may at least be able to make her more comfortable while she battles the virus, and since it sounds like she's worsened instead of improved recently, there may be some complications. Better safe than sorry!

she may have punched herself or picked her nose in her sleep and cut her nose further up. theyve spindly wee fingers that get right up there!!!
