How about one with possible apocalyptic consequences: Should Israel attack Iran before it gets nuclear weapons? What happens if Iran does get them? Should we intervene? Should the UN? Iran has already publicly stated that they want Israel abolished off the map. The clerics say that if it takes the end of the whole world to get rid of Israel, so be it, because they are following the Koran and will be blessed in Heaven. It is an apocalyptic regime.

Not with current leadership. The fact is that the people making these decisions are in a bracket of 2% of the folks who control 89% of the money out there. They are so detatched from the reality of the average human that there is no way they will ever agree long enough to do anything productive until they stop the war mongering and greed. We need a unified effort of the world to reach for colinization of space. The simple reality is that this planet will be gone someday, and if we don't come tegether to figure a way out of here we will all perish together.

Generally speaking, it is true. But there are some exceptions:
If the kid is handicapped, another one is allowed;
if both parents are only child of their families, another one is allowed;
if both parents are of minority ethnics, another one is allowed;
There are other exceptions too, but a third one is not allowed under all circurmstances.
This is due to the limited resources (such as land and water ) and too many people - 1.3 billions. The country would collapse if each family had two or more children. It is necessary for this country to survive.
The corresponding laws are written in Chinese, may not be helpful if you do not understand Chinese.

apparently they think they are experts on child development..physical, emotional, cognitive, etc..
personally i think they are immature, ignorant, and neglectful for not taking care of their children properly..i know i will get harpooned with thumbs down, but there are a multitude of things that can happen or be present that a doctor will see before the parent with no medical degree...some things can be easily corrected, and if left untreated too long cannot....i have been a RN for thirteen yrs and i still take my girl to her appts....i have a degree in nursing, but not a medical degree, nor am i an expert at pediatrics...bc i didn't go to medical school...i just hope they can live with the aftermath of something they could have prevented by going to a quick checkup or vaccination, bc invariably, some will have to..
ETA: doc's do NOT learn everything by being told, and you are fooling yourself if you think by researching you can correctly diagnose the wide variety of illness and conditions a child may or may not have....have you heard of an 'intern' or a 'resident' in medical terms? perhaps u should do more 'research' before you type; if you don't know that, what else do you NOT know...? docs as well have continuing education and seminars and such so that they keep up to date with current medical research and progression...get your facts straight sweetheart...or did you not do your 'research'?
