Child Health Act

Glen Said:

Which of the following most likely would violate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act?

We Answered:

This sounds like homework and is completly common sense. The only hippaa violation on the list is A.

B has nothing to do with hippaa, C is required by law, and D, any doc can refuse to treat any patient for any reason, and again, has nothing to do with hippaa

Nellie Said:

The patriot act of health care, do the dems need a lesson i sloganeering?

We Answered:

The 'patriot act of medical take over' is one of the worse conceived liberal socialist democratic plans ever to come down the pike.
Here we have another "It's free" type that doesn't grasp the concept of this entire health care issue....
40 million Americans are NOT at risk in this issue....8 million illegal aliens, Maybe...But for what this plan is going to cost the American public, we could hire MORE I.C.E. Agents to track down the illegals, put them on airliners IN first class, PAY the foreign governments to HOUSE them and provide PRIVATE health care for them and it would STILL be cheaper than the boondoggle of a Health Scare Program proposed by Pelosi and Reid....

Buy the Weigh, saving the BABIES...That My friend is EXACTLY what the Socialist Liberal Democrats DON'T want to do...they call it Pro-Choice....American Citizens call it Abortion on DEMAND...

Debbie Said:

i work in a child care job and i really don know how to appkly health and safety at work act to my work place?

We Answered:

I'm not sure i understand your question. The facility you work at will have already been inspected for health and safety and you will have covered this topic in your training did you not? Most is common sense to be fair.

Robin Said:

With the new health care reform act, an employer must cover an employees dependent up to age 26, regardless?

We Answered:

Correct, for any plan RENEWING after Sept. 23rd. UNLESS, of course, it gets revoked.

So, if you are no longer a student right now, and over 19 (or the magic age for your plan), the employer's insurance CAN drop you right now, and then must add you (at your parent's request) during the NEXT open enrollment session.
