Poor people who are lazy and living off the government used to be the exception, not the rule.However,I still say that the entire poor population shouldn't be punished because a lot of them are lazy.you have to consider some poor people are trying to get a job, and no one's hired them yet, or that they're in debt trying to pay for medical bills or whatnot.Maybe poor people who had too many children couldn't afford to go to the doc for birth control pills, or pay for the prescription.See what I mean?
I do like your idea of cutting back benefits to provoke the lazy to get a job.However, it's not only poor people who want free health insurance.I'm 20, and saving up for school.If it weren't for my dad in the military I wouldn't have any insurance now and I don't know what I'm gonna do when it runs out. And those doctors making above $125,000 a year can surely afford to cut back on a few things just like the poor should take more responsibility.
