Kay Said:

Tom Coburn's challenge to his colleagues: ear infections or earmarks?

We Answered:

Greed is good I thought I heard someone say. Greed on the hill means bringing in money to your local community. Nearly all congress people do it, and, until someone stands up to eliminate this throughout the political process, threatening both party's willingness to participate by not re-electing incumbents, it will not go away, simple as that.

Kurt Said:

I'm a young Utah widow & mother of 2.. How do I find help paying my child's medical bills?

We Answered:

Check with the Salvation Army, St. Vincent De Paul, or other charities and churches in your area. They can sometimes give financial assistance and start fundraisers. Call your local news station. They will sometimes put your story on the news and donations will be sent directly to your child's bank account for medical bills. Also put your story in your local news paper. The paper can start an account for donations from their many readers. Don't give up. If you would like to talk I can think of many ideas to help. Email me, I'm from MI but I will look up info from any state. Hang in there!!! :>)

Brenda Said:

What do you do in Utah when your child care case is neglected?

We Answered:

Call back and talk with a supervisor - dont hang up til they connect you to a supervisor.

Sit down and write down as close as possible all the dates you have called, paperwork you have received etc so you can answer any questions the supervisor has. If she refuses ask her to send you an application for Aid for Dependent Children since you wont have a job anymore - be blunt about it.

Also talk to your boss - maybe there is something they can do to help you out with this - not a loan or anything but maybe a few days off to get things settled.

Francis Said:

Help me with my health care policy aff! Please?

We Answered:

Let me remind you that in this nation we do not rely on natural resources like other rich nations. We solely rely on our economy and production. Therefore who riches and the money used by our government comes directly from our tax money. I do not see why the government should SUPPLY health care to everyone with other people money. Mind you i do not have health insurance so you would think i fell in the category of supporters. yet i do not.
because in reality the main problem is greed and cost, but as usual our government instead of facing the real issue and fight it tries to find a way around it and do a patch work instead. and there is only one simple reason to that ... because every single politician has at least one hand in some lobbyist or great health company's pocket. and everybody knows that you do not bite the hand that feeds you.
Stop charging thousands in premiums, stop paying high management millions of dollars in salaries, stop spending millions if not billions in adds and commercials promoting this or that brand of medication, stop abusing the system simply because you can and finally ... stop ripping off your own people because you are greedy.
THAT should do it ... now who has the cojones to face the music? ... no one.

Luis Said:

Did Hillary really have anything to do with SCHIP?

We Answered:

Everyone knows Hillary is a liar, so I don't think that's really an issue.

I think the actual issue is how both she AND Bill claim credit for things they haven't done.

"Bill's" welfare reform was awesome wasn't it? I mean he loves taking credit for it and talking about how successful it was.

So...Why did he veto it TWICE before we had a Republican Majority who could override his veto and enact welfare reform?

How can anyone really believe that a Democrat would cut welfare and tell people they have to work for a living? Come on.

Janet Said:

if my step childrens mother has put them on medicare in UT can they still b covered byour ins in ID?

We Answered:

Most likely it is Medicaid that the step children are on because Medicare is for those over 65 or disabled. To answer your question, your insurance will be primary and Medicaid will be secondary. Their mother must tell the state that they have other insurance in place. However, depending upon what type of insurance you have in ID it may not work or may not work well in UT.
