Child Health Plus B

Heather Said:

Does a dad pay too much in child support?25% of gross. In mass.?

We Answered:

No, child support is set by strict state standards. 25% plus medical expenses and half of day care expenses is standard for a non-custodial parent.

Only the parent who contribute at least 50% or more towards the child's support can claim the child on his income taxes. It is rare that a non-custodial parent gets to claim his child on his income taxes.

You don't get credit for Xmas and birthday gifts and the money you spend on your child while the child is in your custody. How much would you spend on your child if you were still living with the child's mother?

You can double check by using the Massachusetts child support calculater. Open the link below and scroll down to the middle of the page,

Pedro Said:

I think I have Heart failure, Should I go 2 the doctor?

We Answered:

Hey, if you're of young age, not overweight/obese, non-smoker and you've been previously fit and well until now, no childhood heart trouble then the liklihood of you having heart failure is slim to none.

you could have asthma or a chest infection- both easily treated. You might have gastric reflux which is also treatable.

Either way, whatever you have, you need to go to a doctor. If it's fine it's all fine right? And if it isnt, well you're gonna need to be treated arent you.

HAVE A MY SECOND CHILD NOW OR WAIT?Please, your advise will be appreciated?

We Answered:

Well it sounds like this year is best and that is what you prefer. I would start trying immediately. It can take months to get pregnant.

Yolanda Said:

When should I take my child's father to court for not paying child support?

We Answered:

run to court as fast as you can. we're human beings, not animals, and fathers are responsible for their children. the money is to benefit his child, not his exwife, so being spiteful and not forthcoming is not going to do his kid any good.

keep receipts of everything (purchases you make for you son, his support payments, health care charges & payments) and keep a journal of everything that goes on with him. You'll want that info in case it comes to a nasty court battle.

Wade Said:

Will my husband's child support to his ex go down when we have a baby?

We Answered:

Yes it will be recalculated. Only after the baby is born, but as soon as your baby is born he has to ask for a review in writting. He can do this directly at the cs office that holds his case, he does not have to return to court. A new child in the home is one of the allowable deductions that can be given to either parent. He has to make the request in writting, they will not automatically do anything. They will redo the entire worksheets at that time, and in less than a month you will have the new amount. They will not back date anything. So the sooner he asks for the review the better.

NHS Jobs- Help Please!?

We Answered:

You could definitely apply for work as a health care assistant. http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/Def…

You could also apply for the diploma in nursing with your current qualifications. However you should be aware that the diploma is currently being phased out so not all uni's offer it now. It's not due to finish until 2013 but many uni's are dropping it in favour of the degree after this months intake. If you think you'd like to do the degree you could either take some A-levels or an Access course. http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/nursing.sht…

If your NVQ is at Level 3 there is Hospital Play Staff or Nursery Nurse. http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/Def… http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/Def…
