She really doesn't have a chance at getting her children back anytime soon. CPS usually requires a year of stability: home, job, and personal relationships; before they'll even consider recommending a custody change. If, in that time, the child's done well in his father's home, they are likely to recommend he remain, anyway.

Yes, your husband should file to modify the child support order when his custody is granted. Any over-payments can be ordered repaid. (He should speak with his JAG officer about doing this from where he's stationed.)

Please please be careful!! After reading your conversation many times I can't help but feel that this is a scam. If you read any website it says to be careful of scams which usually involve sending money through western union (or a similar name), sending money out of country, shipping items or pets from out of country, etc. Also every time someone posts saying something about Cameroon is it usually always a scam. This is proven many sites and lots if people have been scammed out of their money because of it.

I would try to find a puppy in the US or even better in your state. I just don't want you to lose out on your money and I don't want you to get your hopes up then get your heart broken.
