Maybe you did and that's where the $57,000 came up. If so get a judgment from the courts on it. That way you'll be able to gain interest on it. Mention to him that you're going to court and maybe he'll miraculously pull a few bucks out of his ***. :) good luck.

Way too long and way too trivial. It is exactly like stuff my ex husband tried to pull on me, and it didn't fly well with the judge.

What do you expect to get from it? Money? Probably won't work. Make your ex look bad? Also more likely to backfire onto you.

The kid needs glasses, and if it is bad enough that the music teacher notices, he needs them *now,* not after protracted negotiations between you and your ex.

My company changed insurance policies every year or two, which often meant I had to change one of my medical providers. So having records transferred from one office to another is not going to be unusual.

And finally: $111 is cheap, cheap, cheap for an eye exam *and* glasses. I sat down and did the calculations on how much I paid a month for vision coverage, how much the co-payments were for eye exams and frames, and how much *more* regular optometrists charged. I realized that it was much cheaper to skip the vision coverage and go to Costco or Walmart for exams and glasses.

I certainly hope you will include my post with your response, but somehow I don't think so.

It's very unlikely you will get custody. The children have a roof over their heads, they are being fed, she lives with your mother and sister so do you really want to break up your family. Your intentions are good and right but if you push this it could split your family for ever which in turn could do damage towards the children's emotional well being. The only way you might get custody is it was deemed that the children were in danger.

The hospitals are required by law to do background checks when hiring new personal. So many nurses go to nursing home to nursing home far to may have poor attitudes and belittle their patients.Where is greasy at telling us dear folks they just needed a better life.What is troubling each state has their own standards and any new nurse not a resident of the state with current license must take a test to challenge their skills against the board of health of the state they wish to work in. This should be listed as patient neglect.I sure hope La Raza does not step in and claim racial profiling and offer to pay all their legal fees.What will the supporters of illegals have to say about this ?

Ummmm..I would think it would be just a bunch of mumble jumble - Why would somebody need a collection of "opinions" on this matter. THe child needed to go to the eye doctor - when a child needs eye glasses - (a teacher said he should get them checked) - you shouldn't wait for an "enrollment" period to get his eyes checked. AND - how uncomfortable would that be for the Mother to have to have the father and stepmother come to an appointment for glasses - why bring the WHOLE FAMILY to a eye appointment. Just split the bill 50/50 - and see if the mother will accept $50 a month from you.
SO - what do I think the judge would think of that letter? It is just a lot of nonsense- and dates layed out in a letter.. trying to be professional and getting everything out - but, its a LONG DRAWN OUT LETTER. I'm sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear - but, just wanted to tell you my opinion.
hopefully the child is older - and you won't have to deal with this - you owe me - I owe you for 17 more years!!

As to answer one of your other questions about child support. Child support should pay for clothing, food, shelter, school supplies etc... I receive child support and I do not ask my ex for money for any clothing, school supplies, sports or anything - thats what the child support is for. If he feels like doing something nice for the kids(which he doesn't) - then that is seperate from child support - but, he doesnt have to. We also pay child support out in my household - and in that situation - she does ask for money for school supplies etc - we used to pay it - until we felt like she was totally taking it for granted - and she made it up to be something we HAD to do - instead of wanted to do out....thats when we decided - we pay child support- she can use that money for the school supplies.

Is it YOu that is getting the vision insurance? I checked into that - and we have 3 in the household that has contacts - but, when you add up the premiums it really didn't pay. How often do you really need contacts? not every year for me. plus - you will be the one paying for the vision insurance and yes, you might get free glasses - but, who is that saving money for? THE EX! more will come out of your pocket for premiums - and less money comes out of her pocket. should look into that more.

It is not ok to get married when not truly in love because when getting married you have to be well commited to the person and you can't live without that person. Yes she may be the mother of your kids but lets say if you do get married in the time; what will your kids think when they grow up? Seeing and knowing that you two are unhappy. They will be confused so this is what you should do - You and this woman need to sit down and compromise and put your differences aside and see the future for your children and make sure that your children comes first because they are basically the main priorty in your life right now. My opinion is for the both of you to wait a few more years and be calm and patience, work hard, and take care a your children together. Maybe in a few years when your children grow up things will get better and you two will come together and see light of love. The only way this can happen is for you to learn and gain from each other. I'm not saying you have to learn to love her but learn to live and like with eachother so it is easier for you children to understand when they grow up and it would also be easier for you to explain to your children in the future. After you have overcome all this you can decide which is better for your lifestlye and future: Is it to get married or to go your seperate ways.
