Complete Child Health
Jeremy Said:
What would happen if a parent, that had complete custody of a child, died?We Answered:
Usually custody goes to the other parent automatically, unless there is some reason the parent can't or won't or shouldn't take custody.Angela Said:
My child’s health - Am I overreacting?We Answered:
As a grandparent whose grandchild is living in the same household, I can see how easy it is to instinctively want to feed them. I don't always agree with what my daughter wants to feed her son - she's vegetarian and I'm not - but I respect her wishes and only feed him meat with her permission. It's not always easy to be the grandparent. But what your mother is doing is completely wrong. She is WAY overstepping her bounds.I think for the sake of your child's health and to discourage your mother from taking over even more, you should give her an ultimatum. Either she lets you make the decisions about parenting your child, or you will move out. Or , if that will cause a big rift between you, skip the ultimatum and don't explain; just move out. I know you said you're waiting for your G.I. bill, but you may want to reconsider. If this is really important to you, find a way to move out sooner. Enroll in school and apply for immediate financial aid. As a student with dependents, you're eligible for grants that will cover most of your tuition and some living expenses until you get the G.I. established. You may be eligible for a child care grant to cover a sitter while you go to classes. You didn't say what your wife does, but she might be able to work part time or get her own financial aid for college. I would at least check into it.

Does your child have complete control over their lives and bodies? (very long)?We Answered:
They should have enough control but know the consequences of their choice for example your daughter lost her job because of her principles, I can understand that but in the real world when mum & dad aren't their she's going to have learn to compromise if she wants to continue her vegan life style and not buy those clothes she wants or if she really needs new clothes go to a thrift store and buy them.I have principle and stand by them, but being able to pay the bills feed, clothe and house my children, husband and myself have to come before them and thinking about it whilst writing this my number one principle is to care for my family.

i have passed nvq 3 in health and social care children and young adults would i have to complete it in adults?We Answered:
Yes you would, some of the optional units are the same and would cross over meaning you wouldn't have to do them again. One of the mandatory units for children and young persons is HSC34, in Adults it it HSC35 as the legislation is different.You could cross over HSC31,32,32 and if you say what optional units you did I will tell you if they are in the adult nvq
You might be better doing the HNC is social care ,this incorporates HSC31,32,33 of the nvq units now.
The C&YP award doesn't cover you to work with adults though,they are right on that
what optional units did you do, It could be cheaper for the company to put you through 3 or 4 adult units.
It is nonsense that you need to go back and do level2 when you have some of the units in a level 3 adult award already.
You can't use any units in level 3 to cross over to level 2
edit;
if you already have an assessor it sounds as if you have been signed up and registered with the awarding body to do the level 2
