Health Insurance Child Arizona

Kimberly Said:

What do the courts look for when it comes to child custody?

We Answered:

It all depends on the laws of the state, how old the children are, who is the main care giver, and where there life is more established. With your sister, or her husband.
If your grandma is the sole babysitter, they also look at family involvement with the children, the school they go to and how they get there.
She needs to research her laws for AZ, each state differs so much.
It has little to do with income, health care or any of those things. More to do with their lifestyle with their mom and most times they give joint custody to all the children, not just 2 of 4. That's a little ridiculous. and the judge might look at that a little suspiciously. There are a million factors in child custody, and it is not true that mom gets custody 9 out of 10 times anymore, those times have changed.
Having a choice, I hate the fact that total strangers in court determine what is best for the kids. Best case scenario is for them to work out a parenting plan between themselves. This can't always be done, and lawyers need to get involved for more $$ than most single women can afford.
Good luck to her - there are ton's of websites to research. Email me if you would like a few links.

Did you know that now over 50% of births in AZ are to poor people who cannot afford to pay for them?

We Answered:

You can't win with liberals, either they want to have lots of kids for more welfare, or they want to kill the kids. Go figure

I am thinking of getting my tubes tied...?

We Answered:

IF you really want to do it make sure you think this through. But I heard that some hospitals wont do it if your under a certain age. IF its what you want then hey every ones different I'd rather see you prevent an unwanted pregnancy than abort an unwanted baby. But definitely think it over. Once its done I don't believe there is anything undoing it in case something changes and you DO want another one.

Married, 2 children, working P/T, in college, no health insurance. Mom may now have lukemia. No $. - Options?

We Answered:

When I first found out I had cancer I didn't know where to turn but I found out there is social worker's in hospital's and in doctor's office. The social worker told me there's a charity care program that will pay all hospital and doctor bill's for a year. I wish I had known about this before because I didn't go to doctor until I was in stage 2 b with cervical cancer all because I didn't have insurance. I hope this helps you and anyone else out there.

Thinking about getting tubes tied...?

We Answered:

I remember watching an episode of Oprah on tubal ligation, there was a lot of emphasis on the possible side effects i.e post tubal ligation syndrome, lack of sex drive, mood swings etc. The best thing you can is lots of research before you decide and talk to other women who have had the procedure.
