Health Insurance Quote For Child

Patrick Said:

Religious people outgive nonreligious in % income, even to secular charities. So why call the religious uncaring?

We Answered:

I know my church for the most part is filled with conservatives. We are on the front lines in giving to the poor and elderly. I do not know how many Christmas baskets with whole turkeys and all the fixings are going out to the needy, too many to count maybe? In any case, the Churches do more in some cases than the government to meet the needs of the poor around here. There are clothing donations, homeless shelters, hospitals for the poor, food banks, soup kitchens, domestic violence shelters, furnishings for homes for the needy, and utility payment funds for the poor, missions set up for disaster relief here and abroad. Funds to dig wells in third world countries so that poor children will have access to clean water. Halfway houses to help recovering drug addicts rebuild their lives. Feeding programs that fix food for elderly and shut ins on a daily basis. Programs to help disadvantaged people who cannot afford their medications have the money to fill them. Feeding funds for the starving in third world countries. This is just the tip of the ice burg! Christians are very generous people. What in the world would we do without the Christian people showing the world the love of Christ? Some people may complain about us, but we do more than our share of giving. I would hate to think of what it would cost the taxpayer if our churches ever stopped their giving? The government would have to take up the slack. We all know the kind of job the government does these days! Peace and blessings!

Do You Know The Truth Behind Bush's Healthcare Veto?

We Answered:

No one in Washington ever seriously thought the SCHIP bill would pass. It was created solely to force the President to veto it so his opponents could claim that he doesn't care about the children.

Congress won't override the veto, so I suppose they don't care about the children, either.

Karen Said:

What is your opinion of this article: how some people who can't afford insurance, can afford things like?

We Answered:

While Obama was preaching "Personal REsponsibility" to the students because of a 30% drop out rate (mostly among inner city) he preaches and pushes for government responsibility because less than 15% "can't" afford health insurance.

If those uninsured have 2 adults smokers in the house, each paying $80 a week for a carton of cigarettes, that's $160 a week -- or, $800 a month.

Chances are, they have their phone, cable and internet bundled at another $200 a month (includes a couple of movie channels).

And a cell phone for each of them plus the kids, at another $100 a month.

Probably driving a car less than 10 years old -- most likely leased at $360 a month (x2 for an whopping $720 a month).

Probably eating out at least three times a week while at work -- $8 a meal, x 2 = 16 x 3 = $48 a week x 5 = $600...

All totaled, we're talking $2820 a month out the window. But they can't afford health insurance...

It's all a matter of what's important to you and how you choose to spend your money. What good is choice without consequence?

Martha Said:

What should I ask for regarding my child.?

We Answered:

First you need to see what the requirements are for your state. Here in IL Child Support is 20% of the non custodial parents take home pay. No more and no less. Also in IL the non custodial parent is required to pay the health insurance for the child and 50% of all out of pocket medical expenses.

I have to say that in most states a notarized agreement means nothing if either one of you decide to back out. Without having a judge issue a court order the child's father could stop paying child support at any point and time and the only thing you can do is take him to court. Because there is no court order they would never go after him for back support. Also just because you have a notarized paper that states you have custody that means nothing. He could possibly still take off with the child. To protect yourself, him, and your child go to court. If you do it through your state child support division like I did here in IL they will provide you a lawyer for free and if the father qualifies they will also provide him a lawyer.

Clinton Experience???

We Answered:

Actually, I like where she stated she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. I wonder how that could be since he didn't climb Mt.Everest until Hillary was at least 2 years old.
She has told so many lies about her experience and even insignificant things. How could she ever be trusted to be a leader of the PTA, out alone a country?

Discuss It!
