Dont blame Obama. The insurance companies backed out of the agreement to provide insurance for all seriously ill kids. Not all of them, just Cigna, United, Aetna and Anthem. If you have group insurance, you as an adult can be covered, so your child will be covered. That is the reason for having an insurance exchange in 4 years so you can buy your own policy. I can only say that insurance companies have no heart. Children with pre-existing conditions were denied insurance and limited on their care. I would gladly pay higher premiums so a child somewhere could have had treatment.

You should be able to find another insurance company. Only those 4 have ended childrens insurance.
