Stay at home parents, working parents, what do you think of this article from Babyzone? We Answered:
First off, I believe that this argument will never end. LOL!I stay at home with my boys. I feel I am giving them all that I've got because our time with them will be so limited. While those are my beliefs I know that many other people do not feel that way.
I agree with the article to a degree. I never really noticed it until this week when a new mother attended out playgroup. She had quit working [she had just been separated from the military] and her son had been in daycare since he was newborn. That's okay. Her son was very anti-social and clung onto her like crazy. She said it was because he is so afraid that he'll be left in daycare.
It's just an instance and I do understand that this doesn't go for all kids who are in daycare but I found it interesting. I always thought that daycare children would be more social and adapt well to these kids of situations. However, it was the complete opposite. Again--I know this doesn't go for all daycare kids. It's just something I noticed.
I can understand what he was going through. He learned to ‘rough it’ when he was little in daycare. He didn’t know how to share because he was so used to kids stealing his toys so he protected them. He didn’t want to leave his mom because he didn’t want to be left. He started crying immediately when he entered the room. This was their first encounter with other kids [in a daycare like setting] since he’d been in daycare.
I think the issue can go both ways. The child could either end up like the boy I mentioned or very independent. It all depends on the kid. However, I know that I’m being the best SAHM I can be. I keep my kids VERY social--we are involved in two playgroups and swimming lessons. They have never had an issue playing with other kids and have never had an issue with clinging on to me.
I think all of the stereotypes need to end. Each child shouldn’t be categorized into one lump group but seen as just one child. I hate the stereotypes of stay-at-home-mom’s kids and working parent’s kids. They aren’t true for every child and like I said--need to end.
I hope this helps! Sorry it was so long!!
[I also agree that *many* [not all] married working parents could afford to stay at home. It is a choice in lifestyle not necessity in most cases.]

Could Child care be linked to future violence in society thanks to the femi extremist revolution? We Answered:
Yes, the femi-extremist revolution could be linked to a rise in violence amongst people in society. First of all, nothing can substitute the loving bond between parent and child. this bond is unfortunately disrupted because women now have to go to find jobs. It is simply too expensive in the world now to make it on just one income. If you have one income you almost always are on welfare for assistance but that is beside the point. when this bond is disrupted because of the woman working instead of being with her child the child is spending hours in daycare. I have observed in daycares that there is often a very large children to caregiver ratio and it is also evident that these children want attention to fulfill that emotional void that they are experiencing. the caregivers do not provide the children with the emotional interaction that they are needing I have seen this myself in the child care centers that I have went to. Part of a child growing is being able to have emotional needs fulfilled and they are not getting their emotional needs fulfilled because of the way it is in society now. the children have cause to "act out" just to get the attention that they are craving which is understandable. They use bullying: hurtful words, hitting, kicking, throwing tantrums just to get this needed attention. The children who continue to be practically raised in this environment have it almost impossible to learn healthy social interaction because of the lack of interaction between caregiver and child. they tend to carry on with this behavior when they are in school, hence being suspended from school a number of times in a year for their behavior. Or they are the quiet type and they tend to "blow up" and fight.
Take the example of the school massacres. these all happened because they were wanting attention. they lacked the knowledge of healthy interactions and healthy relationships. They felt alone both at home and at school. with violence, they used manipulation to get the attention that they were wanting. they have turned their feelings of hurt and loneliness into anger and violence.
serial killers, as much as we hate to think about them, stem from a lack of knowledge of proper social interactions. they have not received love and affection at home and their parents did not pay attention to them. if they would have they may have noticed any strange behaviors that the child exhibited. and of course, the lack of a loving parent.
in conclusion, children need to have the all important bond of parent and child in order to grow emotionally.

Are you meeting the mental health and developmental needs of your adopted child? We Answered:
I wish more PAPs (prospective adoptive parents) would read this report, and do more research in general, so they wound understand that raising adopted children is more complicated than raising their own biological children.Lots of great points were hit on, and I'm sure would prove illuminating to most who think they might want to adopt, but have little information other than what is provided by adoption agencies.
I do disagree with this quote;
"The nature of adoption has become increasingly complex over the past few decades."
I think adoption has ALWAYS been very complex, it's only now that we're openly acknowledging it.

Your opinion on experts medical report on my sons death? We Answered:
first I want to pass you my heartfelt condolences, when we lose a loved one we need to know or at least believe that the medical profession has done everything human possible to take care of our precious loved one.Obviously people working within our health service are human beings and mistakes can occur, sadly though most doctors nurses and other so called health "care" professionals will never ever admit they have made a mistake most mistakes are covered up and if they come to light to the patient or their relatives HCP do all they can to make it nigh impossible for anyone to examine the facts,We have been programmed through the past sixty yrs to treat NHS staff and GPs as special cases, special people as if they are not accountable and as if we should accept without Q every thing they do or say as being right,The medical profession is no different to any other profession we have bad builders, vets, electricians, plumbers, hairdressers etc etc medics are no different some are good others are bad but we are conditioned to believe they are "called to tend the sick" special people WRONG it is time we realised not all are killers like Harold Shipman or Beverley Allitt but there are manyhundreds who treat or loved one with much less that we should expect from their profession.I hope and pray that the truth surrounding your beloved son which has not been admitted by those responsible will come to light and those responsible will be found and that they get the judgement they deserve but I fear that you will not get that this side of heaven, they cannot hide the truth from God, I pray for you and your family and for your son.I hope God will grant you a measure of peace and the knowledge that he is now at peace.
