Beatrice Said:

How can I convince my Health teacher to let my class watch a movie against the war on drugs?

We Answered:

what does the war on drugs have to do with a health class? and what do you mean by one sided? is the curriculum suppose to say that drugs are good too?

Stacy Said:

Does media cover health topics accurately?

We Answered:

If you believed everything the media told you, you'd end up believing that your health is mostly related to your genetics and there's simply not much you can do about it. That's simply not true. Your health is related to your diet and lifestyle. Incidents of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease are strongly affected by your lifestyle.

Acai berry is a healthy food if eating in its natural form, but you need a well balanced diet. Go to your local health food store and buy some fresh fruit, whole grains, organic vegetables, nuts, and legumes.

There is no such thing as a magic bullet.

Mass media is deceptive because it is influenced by its sponsors who want to perpetuate the unhealthy status quo.

Viola Said:

What to do when this topic is mentioned in front of my crush?

We Answered:

If your friends don't know that it is uncomfortable for you it's about time to tell them. Try to chill a little. If not for sex none of us would be here.

Miriam Said:

Okay is this werid? In health class the topic came up of shaving on girls.?

We Answered:

Hi - the teacher stepped outside her remit, saying such a thing.

HOWEVER, there may be an element of young girl sexual fantasy in the completely shaven pubic area, for SOME men.

It is not 'gross' to be unshaven; it is actually healthy and normal. It doesn't have to be completely untamed, it can be clipped and the excess can be removed with a hair remover.

Many women hate shaving because of the bother, the discomfort, the itchy spots, the rash etc.

I think your teacher was referring to completely shaven, as opposed to partially shaven which is more normal. Completely shaven is a bit weird, I think.

Good luck.
