Mother Child Health

Carole Said:

on the topic of abortion what would you think is more important the health of the mother or unborn child?

We Answered:

I'm very much against abortion, but if anything were to put the mothers life at risk. I could understand that. when it comes to health of the mother or the unborn child, both are important. but if it were there lives at risk, and she was far enough along that the baby was 5 or 6 months along I would think they would do a c-section and at least try to save them both. me never being in that situation and never knowing anyone I don't know what the Dr would do. It all depends on the situation, since all situations are different. but by all means... neither life is more important over the other. both are equally important.

(for me personally... I don't know that I could say that mine is more important.... I would ask the Dr to save us both.... or just him. Even if I was going to die...)

And to "the game" what are you gangster? do you feel macho now that you've said that you dumbass

Heidi Said:

During pregnancy, how much does the mother's diet effect the child's future health?

We Answered:

Let me put it this way ~~~ if a mother does cocaine during her PG the baby will be born addicted but the baby can outgrow the addiction and become clean.

Some or a lot of cell damage is done to the infant due to what mother put in her system and the child is stuck with that damage for life.

Common sense says that is true for anything the mother ingests.

Follow your doctors orders or pay the price.

Donald Said:

What could be the possible consequences on the mental health of a child who looses his/her mother..?

We Answered:

The effects may vary from depression to denial. What this child will surely need is love. Treat him/her as normally as possible have a regular routine. Always make time to be available to talk about anything and everything but most importantly be there. Do not simply stop talking about their mum remember the good times, birthday's and holidays.
To do other wise will do more harm than good. Let them know what ever they are feeling is normal and that you'll figure it out together.

Gail Said:

Can the newborn child of a dependent be covered under the same health insurance?

We Answered:

all the above MAY be correct. however, we do not know your plan. there are still some out there that will cover the grandchild. it is rare, but they do exist.

you will have to check with your specific plan. contact the benefit rep or the h r department. they will know for sure.

Willie Said:

How can you get your child off of a step parent's health insurance?

We Answered:

I don't know why you would have to drop him from her insurance. It seems that if he was sick or hurt you would take him to the dr. and have the insurance to cover it, the step mother wouldn't even have to know he was sick or hurt or went to the dr. I just don't see how him being on her insurance helps her, she has to pay for him to be on the insurance. Of course if he is visiting his father and something happens to him than the insurance she has on him would be helpful. You could also find out if having 2 insurances would pay for everything like he gets sick and the dr. visit is $100, your copay is $50 would her insurance pay the other $50 and vice versa if he was at her house?

Wendy Said:

my child eats the cheese alone without adding it with bread my mother says it is not good for health. advice?

We Answered:

For growing kids cheese is an excellent food. Good protein and good calcium. Ten slices a day would probably be much better than one slice a day. If she drinks plenty of milk then one slice of cheese per day would be enough. Cheese makes an excellent and healthy snack with or without bread or anything else.

Felix Said:

25 dollars of the child support goes toward health insurance that was carried by is mother?

We Answered:

In most states they will attempt to recoup the state funds. Rather than getting the $25 back, I would think they would charge it to you, if I understand your question, which I'm not confident I do. It seems poorly worded.

Discuss It!
