If you don't make alot of money yourself and you think he's serious, then get a legal aid lawyer. Report his *under the table* income to the courts, you'd have to have proof of where he works. You tell your lawyer about the concerns you have for where he lives and has visitation with your girl there. Your lawyer will decide if their criminal backgrounds is an issue.

They most likely wouldn't have the visitation in your home, and if the courts are concerned with his habitat they'd make arrangements for visitation else where, if he doesn't abide by that order then they'd make supervised visitation where a court official would have to be present. Call a lawyer tho......that's your best bet~

They will take medicaid away from you 3 months after the baby is born. You don't have to worry because your baby will get medicaid. You will still get WIC for I believe 5 years or so.
If your Mom doesn't support you then go and live on your owb or with a friend who cares about you. Stress isn't good for your growing baby. Blow your Mom off whenever she is careless about you and the baby and just chill until you are able to get out.
If you want to go live with the baby's father, then go for it, you can always continue your studies in another state. Just be sure you graduate.
You do not have to give up everything you have worked so hard for. If you went to college and are almost done with your carreer, then go for it. Don't quit because you are having a baby. There are plenty of places that will help you babysit and that won't charge so much. You can discuss that with the WIC or Medicaid program and they will help you out with that.
If your boyfriend isn't being supportive, then raise your baby alone, it's not at hard as people make it seem. Once your little angel is born, you will fight to do what's best for both of you.

I was 19 when I had my first baby. We split up when he turned 2. I have no regrets about it all now. He was in the Navy at the time and it was hard, I was not supported very well by my then husband and bringing him up by myself was difficult. Maybe they want you to be sure of your happiness first. Is he going to be deployed any time soon or will he be going over seas? Will you be going with him if he does? You want to be sure you get along with your hubby all by your self, establish you marriage, your friendship first. Strong foundation. Make sure you agree on raising the child, and how you will live your lives. Is he going to make a career of the service?
Live a little. Have some fun with your independence before you go this route. I literally grew up with my son, I don't regret it, not one bit, just know, things will for ever change once that beautiful baby enters the world! I am sure your folks have some hopes for you. We always want better for our children than what we had or did. Of course your mom would be happy in the long run. There is nothing better than grand children. (I have 3 now, my son is in the Air Force and they live over seas) A good life for all of them. I did remarry after 4 years of being divorced and we have 2 daughters together. I was older this time around, and much more settled, patient, understanding and most important, ready. If you have a baby, you have a baby, you are married, you both want one, there are just so many things that go along with it besides the expense.

I think you only need 4 recent paycheck stubs if your employed. I know for a fact that if your pregnant without a job or health insurance you automaticaly qualify for medicaid. After you have your baby and you go back to work your child will still get it unless you make to much money, you will only get it until the childs a year old.

Temporary custody is just that - temporary. "Notarized" just means that a notary public attests to the signatures on the form. You can take your kids with you wherever you go and whenever you want to go. As long as there are no COURT papers involved, it's really just a piece of paper.
