Vitamin E supplements and Iron?We Answered:
All or most multivitamin tablets contain both vitamin E and iron so taking them together must be OK.If you are taking vitamin E capsules and iron tablets you could take them at different times as it is probably better not to take them together.

Have you guys seen this article on AOL today (Guatemalan Army Stole Kids for Adoption)? We Answered:
Yes, I just recently read this article. As I was reading it, I was wondering if any adoptive parents that acquired children from Guatemala are now questioning how their adopted Guatemalan children actually became available for adoption. Or would some or all, once again say 'their adoption' was 'different'. Or those who are still wanting/waiting to adopt from Guatemala, are they questioning how babies/children are becoming available in this country? I would sincerely hope that any PAP and/or AP of a Guatemalan adopted child, has great concern in how their adopted children came to them.Lonnie Said:
What's in your child's school lunch?We Answered:
At my children's old school they had terribly unhealthy choices like ones you listed above! I talked to the principal about it and he told me it was out if his control...yeah right. Then I decided to do something and once a week several other moms and I would make healthy organic meals. Sure it was hard labor, but it meant good food. Now at the school my children attend, they have 95% organic meals with the ingredients listed. A green tag on the food indicates it is organic, and the blue tag indicates that it is not. This makes me feel so much better, the tags help them choose the right food choice especially since they don't open the dessert counter until the last 15 minutes of lunch and you need parent approval for your child to buy a dessert. Now I will actually let them order lunch twice a week instead of always bringing it. The best part is the lunches are $3 so that is $12 a week however I am paying lots of money for the school.
You should talk to a person who works in the cafeteria, then you may be able to get them to put out more veggies and fruits and less desserts to complement the ridiculously greasy meal. Or you should do what I did, round up some parents talk to the school principal and nurse and make healthy meals once a week. A member of the PTA was a pediatrician so we held a meeting where she talked to the parents about good eating habits and during the school day talked to the children about good eating habits.
Sorry this is so long but hope it helped!!

Why can't parents accept responsibility for their kids well being these days?We Answered:
My son likes those cereals but even though he may like them we maybe get one box of those for every 4 or 5 boxes of cheerios Its completely up to me as his mother to make sure he is eating properly. Heck i even like those cereals that why we DON'T have them in the house all the time. I know if they are around we will eat them and it really isn't good for you but you can NOT blame the cereal company those things have been around for years!! Someone just found a way to make a quick buck and ran with it.
