I think that as long as:1. There's money to be made in the collections field- there willl be no fairness.
2. People think that money is the end-all and be-all of their lives- there will be no fairness.
3. There is no workable system for awarding custody of children to the parent best suited for them- there will be no fairness.
4. The government thinks that chasing people who have no money is fair- there will be no fairness.
5. There are, "ghetto mamas", who only make babies with the idea that they are gonna collect from the man for 18 years- there will be no fairness.
6. Until men have the same LEGAL reproductive right as women- there will be no fairness.
Now, with all of that said- I do think that it is not fair that a man should be able to avoid paying to support his offspring- or ditto for a woman who just happens to be doing so.
BUT...I, personally, have never been able to see any way to MAKE a person do anything that they do not want to do- and I also know that "fair", is a concept that CHILDREN expect. ADULTS should KNOW BETTER by now. You mature when you discover that this world is not, "FAIR"- and you do what you HAVE to do, regardless!
