What Is Maternal And Child Health

Different countries with different standards? We Answered:
It's interesting isn't it? The difference I most notice is in the attitudes to circumcision. I've also noticed on this site that girls in the USA get pap smears much younger and yearly instead of biannually. My theory about some of these differences are because they don't have a public health care system and everything has to be paid for. So in some senses they're more willing to do things if you pay (I think like if you're in the private system here, though I've heard that's still much cheaper) and in other ways they encourage more regular or unnecessary procedures to get more dollars.I can't think of explanation for the info on solids though - that's interesting and a little odd. I think it shows how much we really go by cultural practices and tradition for a lot of things. And also how studies can often be changed to show what people want to find.
