hmm i think it may...i know for a fact that the fresher the sample, the better. I would stay away from keeping it a week - maybe a day, but not a week.

lowes rents them.......for about 50 dollers plus the cleaning solution.........i suggest you move most of the furniture around 8 in the morning .... then get the machine.......do the carpets.........then do the carpets again early the next morning then return it before the 24 hour period......with those machines it is recommended that you only go over the area once.... if you keep going back and forth over the same area it will get to wet and may cause mold or mildew.... its a great machine!!!

Wow, you're still having that scalp problem? definitely time to go to the doctor. Hospitals do have outpatient clinics; also, in the US hospitals CANNOT deny you medical care if you don't have money. You can also go to a local clinic but I gotta tell you and I mean no offense, some of the people that go to clinics that have no money tend to be derelicts.
Let me also add, you will most likely get a prescription. That you will have to pay for. Are you sure you don't have scabies, or head lice. Is it only your scalp that is so irritated? Did you try something with a high amount of coal tar that I mentioned once before? That really should have helped if was only dry/scaly scalp.

there is a number there for nurse on call it's a 24 hour service 1300 60 60 24 . they may be able to help i think there is a 24 hour clinic in Berwick.
