Get a list of the doctors utilized by both the PPO and HMO if you doctor is on then they will cover that doctor. The other choice is ask the doctor if they would be willing to get listed on you PPO or HMO.

The only doctor that diagnosed and treated my husband would not switch when he had to switch health insurance. The young doctor that took him didn't see him for 3 months. My husband was on 19 meds after his heart surgery. He died the next month. In addition to having other problems from lack of attention to his meds.
