LOL taking a FEW steps backwards? Your just being too nice. The U.S. has been walking backwards for the last 14 years.
Communism has gone up (though N.Korea has joined sides with us...is that a good thing?), taxes has increased horrifically, we've entered into another war/ police action, more than a hundred-thousand people have lost there jobs, stocks have been falling faster than shooting stars, and I think its safe to say, WE ARE IN AN ECONOMIC CRISIS.
If Obama is really the change, then we need more people to believe in him, and NOT look at his background and life; just his policies and facts.

God won't save us from this, or anything else. We made it, and we have to either build it or take it down ourselves. What makes you think God will save the stock market and laid-off people? What, do you think hes gonna shoot a lightening bolt at Wall St. and BOOM! A rise in stocks? Or suddenly throw-out 100,000 houses & roast turkeys (mmm) for the poor and unemployed?
Think reasonably & logically for once in your life. Did God save us when the U.S. plunged into the Depression in the 1940's? Or when we got into a World War? Or when people died in 9/11? Where was your God then? We the people have to support ourselves and stop believing someone will come and save us from our mistakes. We must make them up for us.

a universal health care plan sounds great but no one has a clue how to make it work for 300 million people. Most cite examples of much smaller countries (Canada 33,224,000, France 64,473,140). Many of those that are having their own problems currently:

- UK is now in favor of denying overweight people & smokers because of high costs (how would that go over in the land of the obese people?

- Like every other nation, France is wrestling with runaway health-care inflation. That has led to some hefty tax hikes, and France is now considering U.S.-style health-maintenance organization tactics to rein in costs.

Not my job, I am an automotive forensic expert and am needed to testify in court for Lemon Law complaints, I do think that if the American company would try and compete with the making of products a little cheaper it would cause more people to use the American company's, Company's move because the labor is cheaper so in turn causing things to be made cheaper else where, this is why were loosing jobs in America. I'm considering starting a sew factory for products that use cloth in there products in hope to keep jobs here in America. As for my job as a mechanic, not in the near future.
