It is important that someone does get her help a soon as possible. If she is suicidal she needs to seek medical attention to get on some medication that can help her and they will put her into therapy. Her mother will have to know, unconditionally, because if she is suicidal enough the doctor will hospitalize her. She shouldn't be afraid to tell her mother because a lot of people have depression and need help because believe me it isn't something you can fight on your own. Tell her don't be afraid if she's going to get hospitalized because it will help her get better and she'll probably make friends with people that have similar problems like her and she'll have groups that will help her deal with things better. And if she hasn't consulted a therapist or a doctor she might not even have depression, she could possibly have another common mental illness. Tell her to stay strong and things will be better one day. Millions of people fight this battle daily, including myself. I've had severe depression my entire life. And with the people saying that she is copying depression they do not know what is ocurring with her, neither do I, but what I am taking from what you said it's not an issue to be taken lightly when someone is thinking about killing themself.

I think a largish yellow pages ad will give you the most bang for your buck. Until you've been around long enough to get word-of-mouth business you'll have to rely upon getting your name out to the places most people will look first when they have a problem. For me, that's the phone book. And there are SO MANY ads in the physician section, I never bother reading the listings, I ONLY look at the ads.

Insurance isn't going to pay for either of them, most likely- definitely not the reversal.

There's no way to know which is better- you're going to have to meet a doctor about a reversal and find out how likely it is that it will work for you, and then go from there.
