Bioidentical Hormone Doctors

Donald Said:

I have been researching about bioidentical hormones and how they are good for you- then I went to a doctor and?

We Answered:

All hormones you take are very powerful and both synthetic and bioidentical hormones are no different. By taking hormones, you are messing with nature. The longest any woman should take those things is for about 2 weeks and they should be plant based, cellular resonant, and used in conjunction with good nutrition that supports the organs that affected. The endocrine is a system of complex relationships and when one organ in the system is affected in some way, it affects them all. Menopause is a very natural occurrence, just like puberty. From birth to puberty, a woman is producing estrogen from her Adrenal Glands. When the body feels it's time to give the woman the ability to reproduce, the job of making estrogen is given to the ovaries and relieves the Adrenal Glands of the job. At menopause, the job of making estrogen is given back to the Adrenal Glands and relieves the ovaries of the job. When this transition happens, there should be about a 2 week period for this to happen. If the Adrenal Glands are exhausted, the process can take a lot longer and many symptoms start happening. If the woman is deficient in minerals that support the Ovaries or Adrenal Glands, this can also complicate the process.

The liver reconjugates estrogen in the body so it can be used again and again. If the liver is toxic, or reprioritizes it's functions due to things like stress, this stops or slows down this reconjugation process.

Trying to balance hormones in a woman that has a body that is stressed, weak organs, etc. is to put her on a roller coaster and just NOT good science. We know that hormone therapy can cause cancer. That is a fact.

Stress, both from external factors and diet related factors can create lots of problems for women going through menopause. The SAD diet (standard American diet) is notorious for making the Adrenals weak, the liver toxic, and ovaries enlarge and develop cysts. PCOS is a big problem in America for women and over 1,000,000 women get this every year.

You are not what you eat, but what you digest. The lack of enzymes in the cooked foods eaten, destruction of probiotic bacteria from antibiotics, chlorinated water, etc. all contribute heavily to bad digestion.

The root cause of hormone issues is a combination of several factors, but I have yet to find anyone that is deficient in drugs. Last year, 786,000 people died due to malpractice, unnecessary operations, and of those, 106,000 people died in hospitals that were given FDA approved, doctor administered drugs designed for the problem the patient had. When a 747 goes down and a few hundred people are killed, there is an investigation, the cause is determined and planes are recalled for repairs, etc. The number of people dying from our medical system today would equal (10) 747's going down each day, but nothing is investigated and people and companies are not being held responsible for the problems. Yaz, Yazmine, and the Nuva Ring are now found to create many problems including death. If you die of a problem associated with vaccines, you cannot sue the company that made the vaccine. That is the law. Over $1.5 BILLION dollars were paid to people from vaccine related problems last year by the government, but only less than 10% of the doctors reported to VAERS problems associated with vaccines, even though it's the law they are required to do so, because it is NOT in their best interest.

I strongly suggest you contact a Certified Nutritional Therapist that knows QRA testing and have them council you on this hormone issue, but to take any hormones, either synthetic or bioidentical should be done with great care.

good luck to you

Would Alzhimers patients benefit from hormone replacement?

We Answered:

Possibly; anxiety and the memory interference affects of anxiety most people know. The article is scientifically sound. While E2 supplementation may alleviate incidences of memory loss or the accompanying mood disorders, nutritional counter measures should not be excluded from treatment to compensate age related digestion and thereby nutritional intake degradation; nutrition transferring epithelial membranes when physically degrading allow to pass 'Beta-amyloid a fragment from a larger protein called amyloid precursor protein (APP), a transmembrane protein that penetrates through the neuron's membrane.' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alzheimer%2…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amyloid_pre…

'Amyloid precursor protein (APP) is an integral membrane protein expressed in many tissues and concentrated in the synapses of neurons. Its primary function is not known, though it has been implicated as a regulator of synapse formation[2], neural plasticity[3] and iron export.[4]' 'Iron export' significant for women.

'In Alzheimer's disease, an unknown process causes APP to be divided into smaller fragments by enzymes through proteolysis.[61]' Enzymes from where? assumption: Not supposed to be there. Elastic membrane break down?

PS Mucuna pruriens contains serotonin, the neuro end gain of E2.

Is it normal for a doctor to prescrible bioidentical hormones when he hasn't tested for a hormone panel?

We Answered:

first of all u need to stop panicking,,,
if you dont believe your doctor go for a second opinion to another...and please let the doctor knw how u r feeling...that is equally as imp as ur physical health...
but theyr some drugs that work through trial and error...like those used for seizures...dont worry ask your doctor in detail again,or get another opinion from another doctor.

Cathy Said:

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy?

We Answered:

Your regular family physician.

There is no menopause specialist and while you still need pap smears once a year you'll be in contact with your family medicine doctor more often. They will also be aware of all your other medical problems and medications.

ARE BIOIDENTICAL HORMONES EXPENSIVE?

We Answered:

It's usually more expensive to use bio-identical hormones than synthetic hormones. Many insurance companies do not cover them at all and the ones that do, usually do not pay much of the costs. You will still have to see your gynecologist for tests and go to a pharmacist at a compounding pharmacy. Many cities do not have a compounding pharmacy. Some women believe that bio-identical hormones are "safer" than synthetic hormones. The truth is that it is not known if they are because they are not classified as drugs and tested by the Food and Drug Administration.

Many pharmacies offer $4 generic prescriptions and there are several synthetic hormones on their list. My HRT (hormone replacement therapy) is one of those on Wal-Mart's $4 list, and with my insurance, I pay $6 for a 3-month supply.
