I need help. Where I can get free mental health help?We Answered:
You need to call your local crisis center, when ever anyone comes to the ER at my hospital and they are homeless or have no insurance and no way to get meds like thyroid pills and such they refer them to a local crisis center. They help get you doc's appointments and maintenance meds. Just google Fl crisis centers and you should get some info.Roy Said:
i need free advice from anyone? We Answered:
One thing quite certain is you are not suffering from Schizophrenia since you seem to be very comfortable socialising which is not the case with almost all schizophrenic patients i know.In any case hallucinations can happen for many reasons and sometimes the drugs itself can induce it.
In your opinion why doesnt your mum love you. ? some honest answers can solve half the problem.
It seems your mum's behaviour too has changed drastically. if that is the case you can consider those factors too. an open discussion with your mum can solve the problem . But remember one cannot demand love. Its something which comes naturally .

im so scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! guys help!?We Answered:
Just don't let the fear control you but control the fear and go to the doctor. Can you make anything one bit better by being afraid of it all? What has to happen has to happen. It hurts. It sucks. But things could be a LOT worse if you let your emotions take priority over this one.Charlie Said:
Please help me. I looked up a suicide hotline on the internet saturday.?We Answered:
My perception is that people who go to college to get an advanced degree are usually pretty ambitious. If that's you, then your meds aren't working well enough, and that is why you are lying around - you still have too severe of depression symptoms to get your work done. CALL THE DOCTOR for a med adjustment, don't wait, because you have to keep up with your workload! The doc can phone or email the prescription to the pharmacy. Your mom obviously can see you are still depressed & is really worried about you, even if the way she communicated that just made things worse. If this goes on and you can't get the meds adjusted soon enough, you may want to consider a short leave of absence. Does your advisor know you are having depression problems? Don't necessarily volunteer it, if you never told them, but if he/she already knows, then you may want to let them know that the symptoms are acting up right now & maybe you could push back your comprehensive exam a couple months, to buy time for the meds to work.Often suicide hotlines are called crisis lines, and you can call for a crisis that isn't quite to the point of suicide. So I suggest you call anyhow. And some areas have mobile crisis teams where one or two people will stop by for an hour or two and sit with you until the crisis is over. A lot of times the crises come only at certain times, like when you are tired, (or just got off the phone with good old Mom!) and you can handle it the other times. There might be campus depression support groups, too.
Inpatient is OK, but you would probably be there a week. I suggest getting the med adjustment with the doc over the phone, first & only go inpatient if there is no other way. I will say my advisor was WONDERFUL about me being in the hospital, but I still ended up having to leave graduate school, because I never could find meds to help the bipolar disorder. If you find good meds, you will do great!!!
All the best to you!

is there a free 24 hour hotline for doctors advise out there? I need help from a doctor.?We Answered:
As mentioned, some insurance carriers such as BlueCross and BlueSheild actually have a 24x7 "Ask The Nurse" type of toll-free hot line. These are staffed by RN's (Registered Nurses) that are more than qualified and trained to assist you.Additionally, some websites allow you to pay a small fee (although you're looking for a free service) and chat with an MD online for a few minutes.
Good luck!
