"2 weeks" could mean to "take it easy" for 2 weeks or "no work" for 2 weeks ..it depends on the sickness (contageous or not?) and what kind of job you have? (desk job or physical labor?)
-You can always call your doctor tomorrow and ask them ... the receptionists can ask the doctor what he meant.
