Does anyone know of any books available that are suitable for a special needs child?

You can download readable books at http://www.readinga-z.com/. Some will be babyish, but there are others that are geared for older children.

What are you doing to get at the root of his reading problems? I suggest that you check out Lindamood Bell, Berard Auditory Integration Training, Fast ForWord, and Developmental Optometry.

Jenny Said:

does any know where I can find cheap audio book?

We Answered:

Our local library has them (for free!). You can try yours. If they don't stock Dr. Who you can put in a patron request. Good luck!

Doctor who audio books? 10 points to whomever answers the question first?

We Answered:

It's literally David Tennant reading a Doctor Who story.

One that has never been on TV. One that has never been a book. One that has never been.

However. At any point The Doctor Who team can come out and say "Right, this audio book doesn't count anymore and you should forget you ever read it". Because anything that isn't broadcast on TV is not official.

For example. A book was released during the Seventh Doctors time. It was a story about The Doctor becoming human to hide from some aliens. Eventually the BBC decided to make this into a TV episode staring David Tenannt. More recently a Comic strip called "The Lodger" staring David Tennant was released a few years back. It's been adapted as a TV episode for Matt Smith which will be on this week.

SO get it if you want, but it's not necessarily official. They could choose to adapt it at any time. Or they might have a story which is very similar.

Dwight Said:

Why haven't they made a doctor who movie about the time war?

We Answered:

as whodude said, there have previously been movies in doctor who. I like your idea of making the time war into a movie, although with constant war and violence that could get a little repedative
there have been rumors about a movie with david tennant and billie pipper, so im assuming if they're true that it will be in the parralell universe but i guess we'll just have to wait and see

Brad Said:

why is paul mcganns awful Doctor who actally rated as the 8th doctor?

We Answered:

Because they bought the rights. There have been many many Doctors other than the official ones, but they none of them had actually gotten the BBC's permission to continue the TV series. I agree, it was a waste of a regeneration, but they didn't know it'd be such a flop at the time. I think Paul McGann would've been a fine Doctor, he just didn't have the best material to let him do his best. Let's face it, it was a flimsy American thriller. Leave Dr Who to the Brits.
