To answer the other part of your question...just split the common bills in half. (rent, power, cable, food). Scams are usually more attractive & appealing. Like "work from home" or "get paid to take surveys.".....but This sounds like real work.

It's probably real, but if they ask you to pay any money/fees to them, then it's a scam. They are the ones who are supposed to be paying you.
