I was talking about this same issue with my cardiologist and this is what he told me.

If this health care plan passes, the doctors that have been in practice for a long time will quit and retire, the next set will be middle aged doctors that can afford to retire.

He also said that this would be a major deterrent to students entering medical school. What we will be left with are young inexperienced doctors and would then be supplemented by doctors from 3rd world countries.

The newer, younger doctors would get better as their experiences increase as would those that would come from a 3rd world country.

The question is how many will suffer until this experience is gained ?

The liberal left congress doesn't care, they are exempt from having the same coverage that would be forced on us, the liberals that are in favor of this health care just want something for nothing.

Having a liberal quote Media Matters is equivalent to your complaints of conservatives quoting Fox News.

Fox admitted that the poll was not scientific, but a scientific poll has a margin of error of +/- 3%. The IBD simply sent 1326 questionnaires to randomly selected doctors. All they did was to provide the percentage of doctors that would *consider* closing down their practice and retiring early.
Strangely enough this is in essence what my own cardiologist told me.

Do liberals always refuse to read links ? the story that the asker provided stated that their numbers and that this they seemed to go against what the AMA has said. It also says that since the AMA has supported Obama's health care plan that many doctors have defected.
Maybe if you would actually take the time to read first before providing links back to the AMA you won't look so dumb.

I work in the NHS in the UK. I have yet to come across a medical student that 'has been forced into a speciality' and I am involved in teaching the doctors of tomorrow.
