We Answered:

I have medical care through the VA now. But I have seen in the past,
that some of the hospital plans do have more staff from other countries. Kaiser is one who has residents from other countries who
have gone to school here locally. The UofO Hospital does also.
Often the university residents get their 'on hands' experience from
assisting at the VA hospital, next door to them. So the VA has
access to the very latest knowledge through them.
Medicaid and Medicare, also employ many medical personel from other countries who came to get more knowledge to take back to their countries and set up practice. Especially those from India, from my observation.
I want the best care, and I try to make sure, that I self monitor my care and be on top of things. For human error is always
going to be a problem, and I have been the brunt of many a miscal-
culation, and I try to minimize that now, as much as I can.
