online doctor advice?

We Answered:

Try NHS Direct. You can get help direct from a Professional by phone, send in a query or self diagnose.

Bryan Said:

Are there any websites/online doctors that you can e-mail or contact for some medical advice?

We Answered:

A doctor can only give you advice in person or via a Physicians Assistant or Nurse, then they relay that info to them. There is no true way of diagnosing a condition (relaibly) over the web. They have to see you physically and monitor other symptoms you may not be aware of, such as speech pattern, breathing rhythm, eye movement, skin condition, posture, and other signs not really visible over the net.

WebMD and other sites are educational but by no means a way of being diagnosed and taken care of properly. Especially if there is an underlying or dangerous cause to that disease.

Trust me. I too was suckered in the past with these Web doctors.

Free Doctors Online?

We Answered:

There are a ton of sites that give suggestions based on symptoms. Just google your question and you'll be surprised how many come up. Often times your insurance carrier will have a web site with some helpful tips or even a nurse call number to call ask questions before you go to the dr.
