Eye Doctors That Take Medicaid

Richard Said:

What eye doctor accepts medicaid?

We Answered:

You should wait until after you have your baby to be examined, because some women experience changes in their vision during pregnancy, which return to normal after.
In the mean time you can call your local optical stores to find out if they accept medicaid as payment.

Kevin Said:

Eye Check-Up doctors that take CHIP medicaid Insurance? (Kid) & 10 points each!! ***)?

We Answered:

Most of these insurance plans, when you first start, give you a booklet that, among other things, tells what doctors are in their plan, if you don't have yours any more, you might be able to get the info from their web site. If not, see if you have a local contact number for your insurance and see if they can send you one.

Raul Said:

I have medicaid now and Im trying to find doctors that take medicaid. Does anyone know who I can go to?

We Answered:

Your caseworker and the Social Services dept in your area both have a list of dentists and eye doctors that participate with Medicaid....give them a call.

:)

Mike Said:

i need a eye doctor that takes medicaid?

We Answered:

Usually, the Dept. of Social Services sends a booklet of available Doc's in your area, I'm from Kansas, so I can't help you on Doc's, but if no one else can help you on here, just call your case worker and ask her how you can recieve a booklet from insurance for medical, include Eye Doctor, so he/she will know exactly what you need. I hope this helped a little bit.

Grace Said:

questio for anyon who is on or who was ever on Medicade?

If you have little or no income you should qualify. Just go to you local DSHS office or apply on line. They will also pay for past medical bills. Good luck job hunting :)

Mario Said:

my bff has medicaid and her eye doctor office are commiting fraud.what can she do???

We Answered:

this question is concerning to me, but i'm afraid i don't have all of the information. something is missing.
i don't know why an eye doctor would do that to her, but it really seems like a part of the story is not there.
i do not believe that medicaid makes the lenses. they pay for them, but the eyeglass place probably has a factory that sends them to their store. she can call medicaid, then number on her card, and explain the situation to them. They can probably help her find a reliable doctor, and if you know of another friend that had eye glasses maybe she can tell you where she goes?
i work in a pharmacy and sometimes as hard as we try, patients do not understand the given situation and leave unhappy/unsatisfied and confused, but there is a logical reason as to why their insurance was working the way it did. Sometimes it takes a bit and/or someone else to explain the situation until it makes sense.
I hope this helped. but really, call medicaid. They shouldn't lie to you, and if you have the distinct feeling that they are, contact her primary doctor and tell him/her what's going on because they will help you.
