It's not his problem. He shamelessly bought out the AMA just as he did the insurance companies, the AARP, the pharmaceutical companies and any Democrat senator who had opposed his bill.

Here's what the AMA got:

A 10% bonus to serve in "Under represented" (read: poor) communities.

A promise to not cut Medicare and Medicaid payments by 20% as originally proposed.

AND,

A promise to cut doctors enrollment fees when signing up to see medicare and medicaid patients.

As written, this bill is a win/win for everyone but the tax payers. Congratulations. The Dem.s have managed to reinstitute slavery once again!

In 15 years, there will still be plenty of doctors, but there will be no money left with which to pay for their services. The system will be bankrupt just as will the individual tax payer.
