Find A Doctor In Texas

Barbara Said:

How do I find out if a doctor in Texas has been sued for malpractice before?

We Answered:

Well you could search his name in all of the courthouses around the area where he practices, but you need to keep in mind that few doctors haven't been sued for malpractice. You need to look at the circumstances of the suit, not just weather he/she was sued or not.

Myrtle Said:

where can i find an eye doctor in texas that accepts medicaid?

We Answered:

The office where you sign up for medicaid may have a list. Also, you can phone optometrist offices and ask if they take it. Texas is a big state, knowing where you are located in Texas would help. I know that Texas State Optical in Jasper, TX takes medicaid, or they did years ago....
Hope this helps. (-:

I've been doing some searching and I haven't found a list of optometrists, but the Human Services website says you can call 2-1-1 if you are in Texas to get information and help. I'm also going to put the website address here:

Do you have an MD? Ask your doctor for a referral. Not only will he know who is the best, but he will be able to get you an appointment faster.

where can i find a hemotaligist Doctor in Texas?

We Answered:

If it is a condition life threatening go to the nearest Emergancy room at a hospital (good hospital), and they will refer a hemotologist immediately. specialist like those are on call 24/7. if not emergency room, go to the clinic or call the clinic for a appt. with a internal medicine doctor and he/she will refer you to a hemotologist. GOOD LUCK!

Where do i find a doctor that takes medicaid in texas?

We Answered:

Do you know which plan you chose? Texas medicaid has a couple of different ones. You should have gotten a book in the mail that tells you which doctors are on your plan. The plan info should be on your medicaid card. You could try calling around to find on, or you can call the medicaid hotline (good luck getting through) and ask for a doctor in your area.
