I can't find any email anywhere. They don't even have a website. Call the number above, not the one the doctor or your friend told you to call. An international call is cheaper than being scammed out of hundreds or thousands of dollars.

If that "doctor" contacted you about your friend, then you know for sure it's a scam. By law, doctors are not allowed to speak to anyone about a patient except immediately family members or government officials if the family cannot be found. They cannot call friends

If this friend of yours is a foreigner in Nigeria, you need to contact the emergency citizens services of her embassy ASAP and they will send a consular represenatative to the hospital to deal with the situation

Whatever you do, DO NOT send any money. If the doctor or your friend calls or emails again, tell them you've contacted the embassy who will be sending over a representative tomorrow who will take care of any medical payments. That's what emergency citizen services do - help foreigners in trouble in foreign countries. They will advance money to cover medical expenses if the person is unable to pay or help them get their papers back if they are saying someone is holding their papers
