Gifts For Doctors

Ernest Said:

Can you suggest what gifts to give my doctors for Christmas.?

We Answered:

A nice pen that has a good grip to it and nice flowing ink. (doctor's write a lot!)

Also, don't forget the doctor's staff as well. Most people forget the staff and the staff is what makes the practice run smoothly.

Lisa Said:

I am a secretary at a doctors office. My boss has put me in charge of gifts for fellow doctors...?

We Answered:

Classy is to not act like Romanov princes.
If you're not willing to knock 90% into your own bank account, you must divert it into good deeds.
A bunch of doctors don't need $400 gimcracks. A $400 gift certificate could buy two pairs of glasses, a month's rent, etc.
You're in a delicate situation, your boss will cry poverty in the face of his VP parking spot and catered lunch, but the line is this.
$800 each for trinkets for fellow doctors, or $800 each to a charity in the name of fellow doctors?

We Answered:

If you would like to work with kids at an orphanage or something like that http://www.linktodiveristy.com has many programs to choose from. You can pick the type of program you would like to participate in and the destination as well! Hopefully, you will find it as a helpful resource.

money gifts to doctors???

We Answered:

I know it is against company policy at the nursing home in the USA I work at for the nurse's aides to receive gifts from the residents. If a resident really wanted to give a gift to an aide, he or she would have to get something that would be able to be shared equally by all of the staff where I work (and not just the nurse's aides, but the nurses physical therapists, etc as well).
