You don't say how your hearing is. I would get a hearing test first by an audioologist. With dyslexia, you usually read some words in reverse. Something in your brain seems to not be sending the right messages to the language and speech part of the brain. It could be many things. The neurotransmitters that send the signals from one side to the other may be malfunctioning. I'd see a neurologist. I wouldn't rule out autism either.
I know this is scary but you need to find out through tests. The longer you wait, the more you are going to worry. So see your doctor, ask his opinion and have him send you for tests, including some I have suggested. I can't rule anything out here. That is what tests and the doctors do. Please see them and hope it is good news that can be corrected.

To check for anemia the doctor is going to take a blood sample, so that they can test your blood. It's not going to be that horrible for them to take blood, they are pretty good at trying to do it as quick as possible.

Yes they can.

The main reason people snore very loudly, is due to a number of reasons;
Being over weight
Drinking alcohol
Smoking
Enlarged tonsils or adenoids
Sinus problems such as allergies

Does your friend stop breathing in the night, do they complain of feeling tired all the time, does he often doze of to sleep through the day?

If so he needs to be assessed by a sleep clinic, to rule out sleep apnoea or some other sleeping disorder. These conditions can and do cause health problems, and can be exacerbated by the above reasons. He will need to see his regular doctor for a referral to the sleep clinic.

There is also a home diagnostic kit, which means the person being tested in their own home. Frees up hospital beds, not hooked up to machines, sleeping in your own home. This kit is smallish and you have to have a few leads, one on the finger, nasal cannula, two elastic bands with leads to the main kit, which is strapped around the waist, and on the upper chest, and the kit rest in the centre of the chest or waist.

I have just last night used such a diagnostic kit. The Embletta pds. So it will be interesting to see what the results are.

You got a muscle in your back to spasm because of the sneeze.
To undo it, take your hand from the other side and put it up on the shoulder with the pain and reach down with your fingers to find the muscle next to your spine and then press on it as much as you can. Now relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don't tense up any part of your body. after 30 seconds slowly lean forward and to the other side so you end up on your opposite knee. Release the pressure and hold your body there for one minute. If this didn't do it then it's in your ribs and that can be done also, just let me know you need that one.

many cancers are not detected by blood work. My blood work has always been right on par and yet am diagnosed with terminal stage iv cancer. Some cancers ( I don't know details of this due to the fact I have only know mostly about lung cancers) can be suspected by blood work, but for the most part colonoscopies, ct scans and mri's are the most accurate to determine if there are tumors.
