I would personally go down to the doctors surgery to see them, you will have to fill in a form and set up an appt to see the nurse for a medical assessment, and then a doctors appt. I would expalin this matter to your work so that they know what is going on and why there may be a delay for your medical certificate plus if you are off for a week you self certificate yourself which means you will haveto pick this up from the .surgery.
