You can easily check public records. If your or any doctor has had any ethical or medical malpractice claims against him/her the information is there for you to read. Simply log on to your states medical board. On the website many states will have a link to view disciplinary actions taken. Some will actually provide all the documents for you to read, some will state if any action has been taken. give it a try.

Not HR. Few doctors are actually hospital employees. Our information is kept by the medical staff office, but that sort of thing isn't usually public. HR information on hospital employees is confidential, anyway.

Some information may be available on the hospital's website, if you are trying to find a doctor to treat something. If you are looking for certifications and that type of thing, you can call the doctor's office and ask, or try the state board of medicine.

Please check with the Sacramento health dept to see if they offer a free women's clinic. If not check to see if there's a Medical School close by that might be able to help.
