Which country is best for Immigration Canada or Australia?

We Answered:

I seriously think Saudi Arabia, Egypt, even Turkey would be a much better choice for you.

Career advice/ what move should I take next to again score a success.?

We Answered:

From your description of 10 interviews on the phone for 50 applications - this indicates that your paper application is hitting the mark (you expect a 1 in 10 hit - you are getting 1 in 5). You are flunking out on the phone interview. The phone interview determines who is given a physical face to face interview. You should be expecting to get 5 face to face for 10 phone interview - you are getting none. So my first guess is that there is a problem with your spoken English. Pakistani accents are very hard to understand for the average Australia. They lilt to much - Australians speak more monotone.

A TAFE certificate is much better than another Masters - you are getting to the point where your multiple degrees indicates your flightiness. The other problem is that your frequent job changes indicate that you will not be staying in any job for more than a year. Since an employee does not become effective until they have been there for 2 -3 months. They might look at you and think - are we prepared to pay him 12 months salary for only 9 months work? Longer job placements in your history is what the employer is looking for.

Has anyone lived in a compound in Saudi Arabia recently?

We Answered:

I haven't lived in Saudi for the past few years, but when I was there, I visited the Arizona compound and was pretty much amazed. It was definitely up-scale. You will undoubtedly have a resident doctor or medical facility, as well as swimming pools, grocery stores, etc. You'll be supplied with a driver or at least have access to one, so go to the Tamimi markets (formerly Safeway) for a good selection of foodstuffs. You will probably have a daily shopping bus for women. Check out Dira Suq and the Kuwaiti Suq. The shopping is GREAT! Gold is cheap. Don't be afraid to bargain -- start at half the price quoted and look sad and walk away if you don't like the "last price." There are wonderful restaurants -- especially around Olaya Street. Ask about the hotels that serve Thursday morning/ afternoon buffets. Get in touch with ACS (American Community Services -- the Embassy can supply you with the number). When you and your husband start getting overwhelmed by the constant beige of the landscape, take a trip to Bahrain (three hour drive) and stay at the Gulf Hotel (best food in the world!) or fly to Istanbul Turkey (3 & 1/2 hour flight). If you do the latter, I'll give you a shopping list of things I long for from the suqs and I'll show you around Sultanahmet in return!
By the way, the women's section in Dira is the best place to buy your first abaya. You might want to have someone get one for you before you travel.
Good luck and be prepared for some major culture shock and a lot of laughter.
Feel free to ask me questions.

sorry these question is for ABDULMOSHEN who lives in saudi arabia or any one else that can help.?

We Answered:

Getting what jobs? If you need a job, try going through a job agency or vacancy adverts in newspapers or online. I don't think Yahoo! Answers can help, and there are probably many people called Abdulmoshen in Saudi.

Getting married in Riyadh Saudi Arabia?

We Answered:

1. Yes, you can get a job in Saudi Arabia. It pays well too and make sure you ask for travel benefits. The companies usually pay for a return trip to your country and 30 days paid annually.

2. Yes you can move around in veil/without veil with your husband.

3. Hospitals are staffed by Indian or Egyptian doctors and are very modern. Infact, it shouldn't be too hard for you to get a well paying job if the medical field is what you're looking into.

4. Every country has its own Embassy School. Riyadh kids are goody goodies and studious so shouldn't have any problem. Otherwise, if you can afford it, go for an international school but this could cost you a bundle.

Best of luck and congratulations on completing half your Iman!

As salaam alaikum
