Some women are into status, money, power, prestige, just like some men are. These men tend to attract both women with a lot to offer, and those who will offer a lot (but it may not last long). For some people, having a status symbol for a spouse is worth the money it costs to maintain them. I've got the education/money etc that I could have looked for a guy like that, but I'm not into status, tons of money, or prestige/power, I like guys who are down to earth, do what they enjoy to do, and care about their families more than their career. My bf has had lots of different types of professions, and has been a teacher and designer, he's very intelligent, creative, extroverted and fun. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

oooh, not Nursing Assistant - not very good pay.

Good paying jobs will include: Physical Therapist, Pharmacist, Radiology Technician (especially if you specialize in Ultrasound, CT, or MRI), Respiratory Therapist

If you like the EMS field, paramedics also make pretty good money, but you have to start as an EMT and then go on to a Paramedic training program.

No good job opportunities now, and to be honest, we have enough bloody doctors - we need scientists, researchers, engineers, people like that. If you are not an EU national, I don't fancy your chances of getting work in Ireland, doctor or no.
