I have only experienced the Fertility Drs in California Kaiser, and I can say that every one has met my expectations and taken good care of me.
I would hope that yours would also be as equally good over there.

There is no law that says you can't seek a medical second opinion--in fact, it is encouraged and any doctor (or medical facility) who honestly believes he gave you the best diagnosis possible will not feel threatened by a second opinion. Whoever told you that is messing with your mind. You probably can't get a second opinion from a non-Kaiser doctor if you were physically inside a Kaiser facility maybe, but if you went to where the 2nd doctor is, no problem. And they can't cancel your coverage either although they may not honor whatever the outside doctor may suggest (you may have to go to wherever the outside doctor practices to get the procedure done and he may not be covered by your insurance).

the answer is yes you can switch doctors any time you want but not quite sure if you can go back.
why not talk/ask your current doctor & see how he would feel about you switching. he may ask you why & it is only right that you tell him why you want to switch. after he finds out your fear(s) he maybe able to answer the question yo have any way.
