Another thing - your slightly taller in the morning as the spine hasn't been compressed yet as it would during the day.

Your mate might have measured you in the morning and you might have been measured by the doctor later during the day.

Why would you need radium injections? If it's only an injection, then probably a doctor can do it in office, but I've never heard of such a thing. If you need a radium IV infusion to kill a tumor, then that would be done in a hospital or cancer center.
