Medical personnel are typically always welcome here. Nurses especially. As a physician with a private practice you can live very well. Specialists are even better off. Of course you'd need time to build your practice. A general practitioner asks about J$1500 per visit. Some doctors can see 15 patients in 1 day. Throw in more money for home visits and you can see how it adds up. To put things into perspective, a middle class family spends about J$5000 a week for groceries and you'd make that in 1 hour. A family-sized house in a middle class neighbourhood will cost you upwards of J$15M (about 3 times your yearly pre-tax salary as a private physician). I have friends who are junior doctors (interns) but I don't know what exams you would need to sit to be able to practice here. I say go for it. Good luck! :-)

Please do not become a doctor. Being a doctor isn't like working at Wall-Mart. If you are lazy or not into it, people can DIE. Besides, it sounds like you are way too lazy to make it through the training anyway. The average doctor works at least 60 hours a week when you take into account all the paperwork they have to do in order to avoid being sued by people who would rather make their money by suing people rather than working (so lazy people, people like you).
