When people claim that government-run health care will tell you what doctors you can visit for free...?We Answered:
You can choose which doctor you would like to see and which hospital you wish to be treated at including private hospitals under the British NHS Choices scheme.http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/choices/Pag…

Firstly there are no plans to do away with the NHS in Britain, and there is a general political consensus with regard to the NHS.
Secondly the American Health system is run for profit and is therefore more expensive than both the French and British systems.
Thirdly the NHS treats Breast Cancer with drugs such as trastuzumab (Herceptin) the same as in the US. There are also a number of chemotherapy drugs, radiation therapies and for more advanced cancer surgeries available.
Fourthly your information regarding access to drugs for Wet AMD is way out of date, and Lucentis is now used by the NHS to treat Wet AMD, with no distinction as two the first or second eye.

As for A&E Department 4 hour target, that is for more minor injuries not emergencies, and in my personal experience I have always found the NHS Emergency Treatment very good, indeed Major NHS Teaching Hospitals offer amongst the best emergency treatment any where in the world. At the same time the development of new specialist cancer centres is seeing cancer services in Britain improve dramatically and we have the fastest imptoving cancer services in Europe. It should also be noted thst over the last decade there has been a massive hospital building programme and most NHS facilities are very modern with state of the art equipment.
We also have a fleet of over 30 air ambulances covering the whole of the UK.

In terms of minor operations such as Hip Replacements, the NHS now uses Independent Sector Treatment Centres (ISTC) which are often run by the private sector and which have led to a much swifter service and less waiting.

I would point out some of the US Horror stories regarding insurance coverage but Michael Morre has already done so, and there are just as many horror stories regarding the US Health Care system as any UHC System.
Finally the US is the exception not the rule with the rest of the civilised world having UHC including most European Counties, as well as countries such as Japan, Austrlia and New Zealand.

Free fake doctors excuse note, why would they print or give it away?We Answered:
In my mind this is a clear fraudulent act.If a person does this they are perpetrating a fraud 1) The person writing it without knowing you and presenting a physical reason for illness without a license and, 2) you are committing 1 by giving to your employer and can be fired and lose any and all benefits, even unemployment. So if this is true is it really worth it, let alone the morality of it.Glenda Said:
