Rate Your Doctor

Tamara Said:

Rate Your Doctor ON-LINE?

We Answered:

Thank you! While my Rheumatologist wasn't listed, my children's Pediatrician is--she received the highest recommendation. I knew she was good, and I've always credited her with saving my youngest son's life. It's nice to know that others feel the same about her.

Roland Said:

Do you think that you should be able to rate your doctor on-line?

We Answered:

Of course. Hopefully this will eliminate the age old problem of stuck up and unhelpful doctor's receptionists who can literally at times make you work for your appointment. Surgeries are providing a service to a paying customer (taxpayer) and as such should be subject to the same scrutiny as non health care businesses. If they don't live up to expected standards then they will lose 'customers' and have to make the necessary changes to win them back. Power to the people!

Nicole Said:

Have you used those "Rate your Doctor" websites?

We Answered:

I've never heard of this before..thank you for posting this, I live in Dade County and agree with the medical personnel here...it's really terrible

Alvin Said:

Did you know they have RATE your teacher, rate your prof and rate your doctor sites?

We Answered:

We don't have that where I live but I think it's a great idea. Some of the doctors we have come in contact with lately had made some truly serious errors and it would be nice to be able to warn people about them.

I mean how can a doctor not notice two punctured lungs and one of the lungs had collapsed too? How? Or how about the doctor that didn't want to help with a kidney stone attack because he was certain that it was a STD that caused it. Why do such people get to work?
