Talk To A Doctor
Jane Said:
What is the proper title for a talking doctor? We Answered:
Psychiatrist....Psychiatry is a medical specialty dealing with the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental illness. Its primary goal is the relief of mental suffering associated with symptoms of disorder and improvement of mental well-being. This may be based in hospitals or in the community and patients may be voluntary or involuntary. Psychiatry adopts a medical approach but may take in to account biological, psychological, and social/cultural perspectives. Treatment by medication in conjunction with various forms of psychotherapy may be undertaken and has proved most effective in successful treatment.

How can you talk a doctor into inducing? We Answered:
Oooh, not a good idea. I know you're probably soooo ready to have your baby and all but there are risks to all medical procedures. Unless it's medically necessary, hopefully your Dr won't do it.Here's an article that very briefly discusses the risks of induction. http://www.expectantmothersguide.com/lib…
Oh and if you're inducing with pitocin, your contractions will be much more painful. When I had pitocin, the contractions were not normal and they were more painful than back labor. Inductions can sometimes also lead to cesareans because your poor body just wasn't ready to labor so it quits on you, then when you've gotten labor started, the Dr (and you I'm sure) just wants to get it over with. Believe me, natural childbirth is much easier to recover from than major abdominal surgery. I've done both and I still can't believe women who have cesareans are expected to take care of a newborn by themselves.
I know it's hard, but please try to wait it out. Your little one will be here soon enough. There's no reason to add potential complications.

What kind of doctor would I go to for upper back/neck pains? We Answered:
It could be anything, nerve problem, muscle problem, kidneys or a number of other things...It is impossible to answer your question without knowing what the actual problem is. Ask your Doctor for a referral for a CT or MRI scan. The wrong type of treatment or exercises can do more damage than good and you need to have your back properly diagnosed prior to ANY treatment.
Again you do need to have a CT / MRI scan or such done before allowing ANYONE to touch your back.
Get a professional opinion from the radiologist doing the scan in his report to your doctor and then go from there

Going to talk to doctor in a few hours about my depression? We Answered:
HeyI agree, it's very brave of you taking this step. I've been there and I cancelled the first three appointments I made for the reasons you list.
In the end I knew I had to do something so I wrote it all down. Just on a sheet of paper as it came to me, I listed how bad I felt, how long it had been going on for, what the very worst days felt like, and I intended to use it for reference when I got to see my doctor, but because I was still struggling to get the words out, he just asked if he might have a look at what I had written. And I handed it over and he took it from there. It helped us both.
Maybe you could try that? Sometimes it's easier to write things down, more private in some ways.
Your doctor won't be shocked at your tears, he needs to see you at the worst of it, it's no use going to see him on a day you feel 'well' and telling him you feel OK. If you do cry, it's not a big deal, you might feel embarrassed and uneasy, but he will see it as a symptom, honestly.
Don't be ashamed of how you're feeling, this is not your fault, it's an illness, and they can treat it, the same way they do all other illnesses,
Well done to you for taking this step, it will be alright :)

In what episode of Doctor Who did the Doctor talk about bumblebees? We Answered:
It was indeed the fourth Doctor, in Robots of Death (Part 2). One of the sandminer crewmembers claims it’s impossible to override the robots’ programming. The Doctor responds, “Bumblebees. Terran insects. Aerodynamically impossible for them to fly, but they do it. I’m rather fond of bumblebees.”
