Your bf's medical problem has only become his mothers problem because he has not told her ... he is a man of 22 yrs old man , and not a little boy anymore. I really believe it's your bf who should sort all this out with his mother .....it seems he is continuing to behave like her little boy. Everything his mother is doing is because she is worried about him...in her eyes he is still her little boy and he will continue to be her little boy...until he becomes a 22 yr old man . This is your bf problem ...you need to tell him that it's time he took control of his own life , yes his mother should be involved with his hospital stuff but he should let her know how far he wants her to be involved. After you get this set of tests done, you need to get a copy and find another doctor. Already this doctor has proved that he knows nothing of pituitary tumors since he has said that your symptoms are not related to your tumor when they clearly are.

You need to get more than one set of tests and even if this set is normal or abnormal, you need to test to determine what type of tumor it is. Your doctor was asking questions as if you had high growth hormone but your symptoms are very typical for several others.

If you look around on the pituitary.org website, they have the name of the military contact so you can get more help if you need it. Many people have written to him in the past so he knows how to get them to the right person. The guide from that site gives a lot of information in one spot if you are not good at putting it together from the web. It is good for newbies.
