Hugh Said:
can anyone remember the tv program that featured a doctor with a talking skeleton in a cupboard in the 70s/80sWe Answered:
'The Ghosts of Motley Hall' ? one episode definitely called The skeleton in the cupboard, 1976Robert Said:
Doctors on TV afternoons, do your Doctors give that amount of care?We Answered:
My mum is a nurse and she hates that programme because she reckons it creates seriously unreal expectations of health service professionals.Even with the best will in the world - no GP, district nurse, social worker or lawyer would have the sort of time they take on that programme to become so involved in their patients/clients lives! I saw one episode the other day when the nurse was out in the middle of her working day looking for the women who were being forced into prostitution!
All very admirable, but who was in the surgery removing patients stitches and changing dressings!? Not the GPs, that's for sure, who are usually too busy talking about their love lives in the staffroom and arguing with the patients!
Just as well its only television...

Should Paul Mcgann or Sylvester McCoy ever appear on the current Doctor Who TV program? We Answered:
Yeah, I think it'd be cool at some point in maybe a few seasons time, and fair play - you have a much better concept for bringing the doctors together than those used in the Three Doctors, the Five Doctors or indeed the Two Doctors. Actually get some Time War footage down on film, complete the transfer from the written word to the series. Definitely a good concept. Mind you, I think they should wait till at least season five of the new series, cos to do a multi-Doctor story right now would still feel a little gimmicky. Be great to see some Gallifrey footage from the Time War period though...Sandra Said:
