Dr. Ortiz is a very good doctor and has been featured on a couple of television shows in the US. I had lap band 4-16-08 and I am down 65 pounds and I am many of years older than you. You will do okay if you do what the doctors say to do. This is a tool and what you do with it is strictly up to you. I didn't even have to take the pain medication, I just had some discomfort, nothing to take any pain medication for. I was up driving two days after the surgery and I have been on the go ever since.
